There may be 26 Christmas trees in the White House, but Sasha and Malia Obama know it’s mostly for decoration.

“Unfortunately we don’t get presents under every tree,” Malia, 11, joked Tuesday during an appearance at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C. First Lady Michelle Obama and first dog Bo were also in attendance as her daughters took questions from the young patients.

One child asked Sasha, 8, “How will the holidays be different this year?” Quick-witted Sasha responded: “It will be easier to get on an airplane,” making everyone laugh with her reference to Air Force One.

Hello Internet. It has been a while. Why? You may ask. WELL don’t even get me started on the HORROR that has been my Dell. Well IT’S A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE because today while perusing the internet on my new bff’s computer which was so LOVINGLY lent to me, considering I am like King Midas with motherboards…

Anway, I came across this McGiveaway and literlly MY HEART SOARED. THIS would be the end to aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalll my computer woes. In the meantime, I will return the laptop and sit here waiting for Dell Customer “support” to let me know what time a tech will be here to “fix” the computer…for the third time…in 10 days…

But seriously. If you have a functioning computer. And functioning internet. Then go here. Cuz seriously, you should check it out before I snag the totally awesome computer for myself…

So here the story, morning glory. Boy meets girl, boy and girl hit it off. Girl pulls a play out of Bridget Jones’ play book and begins looking waaaaaay forward into the future and, despite what she thinks is an excellent job of NOT appearing desperate, manages to only keep boy around for two weeks. Maybe getting laid.

I think I need to meet this guy…

And not just because he’s hot and I would totally sneak off somewhere private with him. But because I find him fascinating. And he would probably give me some really good advice for this weekend…

It is very kind of you to invite me to come trick-or-treating in your halls. It would be a fantastic opportunity to ~~finally exact revenge on horrid professors~~ reconnect with favorite professors. However, thanks to your decision to ~~screw me over~~ not fill the position (I was PROMISED), I now live 10 hours and 27 minutes (or 650.47 miles) away.

Spent a lot of time in that airport. Always loved the jumping fountain and the sashimi at restaurant in the hotel. Sigh. Memories of a past life…

Apparently, all you have to do is show up…..

Now now. That’s not entirely fair. He did way more than show up! He put himself through school, he over came racial barriers, he motivated and inspired a whole country then the whole world. And let’s not forget, when he “showed up” we were not exactly the most welcome country at the party. Give the man credit when credit is due!
