So here the story, morning glory. Boy meets girl, boy and girl hit it off. Girl pulls a play out of Bridget Jones’ play book and begins looking waaaaaay forward into the future and, despite what she thinks is an excellent job of NOT appearing desperate, manages to only keep boy around for two weeks. Maybe getting laid.
I think I need to meet this guy…
And not just because he’s hot and I would totally sneak off somewhere private with him. But because I find him fascinating. And he would probably give me some really good advice for this weekend…

However, thanks to your decision to screw me over not fill the position (I was PROMISED), I now live 10 hours and 27 minutes (or 650.47 miles) away.

Detroit’s is an aesthetically-pleasing airport. Plus these walkways? Straight outta those racing videogames, I tell ya. Or that wormhole in Deep Space Nine! Except that at the end of it, you’re not in the Delta Quadrant.
Spent a lot of time in that airport. Always loved the jumping fountain and the sashimi at restaurant in the hotel. Sigh. Memories of a past life…

Apparently, all you have to do is show up…..
Now now. That’s not entirely fair. He did way more than show up! He put himself through school, he over came racial barriers, he motivated and inspired a whole country then the whole world. And let’s not forget, when he “showed up” we were not exactly the most welcome country at the party. Give the man credit when credit is due!
